TRAINING & EDUCATION

WHAT WE DO

Our training and education program provides innovative health education training and technical assistance to homeless shelters, community health clinics, hospitals and community-based providers across Los Angeles County.

There are a variety of formats in which we train, in order to provide the best-tailored experience for you or your staff.

Many of our topics come in 3-hour modules that can be delivered in-person or online.

We also offer cohort-based trainings which fall under the following options:

5 day Case Management - Level 1

This cohort is for individuals who are new to homeless services and have been working for less than 6 months.

5 day Case Management - Level 2

This cohort is for individuals who have been working at least 6 months who have experiences and questions on how certain topics apply to real-life examples.

5 day Supervisory

This cohort is for mid-level and director-level supervisors who want to explore best techniques for supervision and supporting direct service staff in Homeless Services.

10 day Case Management - ICMS

While this training is primarily geared towards Intensive Case Managers, it has proven helpful for any service provider.

If you are interested in seeing a list of topical modules or for learning objectives, please see our catalog, where you can also fill out a Training Request Form if interested.
